Help Melissa attend her fiance's funeral

Hello! I am in need of help. Ray, my fiancé, passed away in April. Due to Covid, we were not able to have a funeral and instead had to cremate him. I have recently learned his family has planned a memorial in his home state of Mississippi on October 23-25, 2020. I had asked off from my job and was granted paid time off. However, I just found out I would not be paid for the time off because HR made a mistake in calculating my available PTO. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to take off without pay as I have no means to recoup the lost wages. I usually work 6 days a week at $12/hr, and I can barely get by. I am not one to ask for help as I believe in standing on my own two feet, but with this new setback I am in a major dilemma. I calculated $500 that I will need to cover lost pay and expenses to make trip. I really want to be able to go to this memorial for much needed closure and to see the man I loved laid to rest properly. I greatly appreciate any help you can give, and if you aren't able to donate, then that's ok too. Please just pray for me! I thank each of you greatly for your time and consideration.
