Help Melina finish the degree she's worked hard for
Melina is a Master of Logic student at the University of Amsterdam. Originally from the border between Mexico and the US, Melina came to Amsterdam on a scholarship that was awarded to her for her high academic performance.
The scholarship allowed Melina to pursue new research opportunities in mathematics and logic. At the same time, she was presenting her work at conferences, developing new interests, and participating in the life of the program's community.
However, studying in Amsterdam wasn't always easy: at the beginning of the program, bureaucratic issues delayed Melina's arrival in Amsterdam, which meant she had to catch up on a lot of work. The pressure of the program and the stress of adapting to a new environment caused her to develop mental health issues, which affected her academic life. Despite all this, Melina was able to complete all of the coursework required for the program, and the only thing left is for her to defend her thesis. In order to do that, Melina needs to pay tuition for the month in which she will defend – but her scholarship does not extend beyond two years. This is why we're asking you to help Melina finish the degree for which she's worked so hard.
Our goal of 4000 euros involves tuition fees and travel expenses necessary for Melina to travel to Amsterdam for her defense.
Melina is a logician, an artist, and a loyal friend – let's help her pursue her dreams!
