My name is Melanie, and I’m a new parent to a beautiful baby who is almost two months old. Becoming a mom has been the most incredible experience of my life, and I am completely in love with my child. However, the transition has been challenging, especially since I don’t have savings or financial support to fall back on. During my maternity leave, I fell behind on my car insurance and car note, and now I’m facing the risk of losing reliable transportation. This is making it difficult to get to doctor appointments, my new job, and even the grocery store for essentials like formula.
