<div>On August 28th, our family received news that turned our world upside down. Melanie was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive cancer called mesenchymal chondrosarcoma. In the midst of this devastating diagnosis, Melanie continues to amaze us with her strength, positivity, and unwavering spirit. She is truly carrying us all with her outlook and resilience.

<div>The treatment plan ahead is intense: a year of chemotherapy, followed by surgery and radiation. To give her body and mind the best chance to heal, Melanie has made the difficult decision to step away from work for the foreseeable future. Her health, both physical and mental, must remain the top priority right now.
