Help Mel recover from Lymphoma

Hi my name is Elissa Anderson and I’m kicking off this fundraiser for my dear friend Mel Graham. For those of you who know her, you know that she is an extraordinary human being. I live in the same building as Mel and we have become the best of friends.

Mel was diagnosed with Stage 4B Advanced Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (Follicular) in November 2020. She underwent surgery to remove a lymph node and with further testing, cancerous cells were detected in her lymph nodes, spleen and bone marrow.

This diagnosis has left her unable to work and after watching her become a shadow of her former self and enduring 6 months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy this has taken a toll on her physically. She will now need to recover and concentrate on rehabilitation.

Mel is a proud single woman who wouldn’t dream of asking for help which is why I have created this page (she has been informed its happening though). While times are tough for everyone, I invite you to reach out and anything you can donate will be very much appreciated, so together, we can at least ease some of the burden so Mel can get back on her feet.
