HELP MEGHAN TO LIVE A NORMAL LIFE

Our daughter, Meghan, was born without oxygen, which resulted being diagnosed with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopat (HIE) stage 2. It is a type of brain injury. After one months in intensive care, she was allowed to go home with us, not knowing it will be the beginning of a longer journey. These type of HIE injuries can later cause different epilepsy syndromes as well as cerebral palsy. At almost 3 months old, she began to have Infantile Spasms, Focal and Tonic Clonic seizures. She is over a year old now, spent more than half of her life in the hospital as we have been to 4 different countries for help and tried over 12-15 different medications to control her seizures. Unfortunately, none worked until we have been introduced to a Ketogenic diet alongside acupressure therapy and cheropactor, which allowed her condition to improve. What is key about her condition is that Infantile Spasms stops babies to develop all in all. Our daughter being over a year old means she supposed to attempt on walking around. Sadly, she is yet to learn to crawl, hold herself up and seek interests in toys. Meghan needs 10 cans per month as she is not allowed to eat anything else at the moment. She is to attend acupressure everyday for 6 months and then 3 times a week for another 6 months in addition to other therapies to aim to catch up on her global delay much as possible.
