<div>Hello! My name is Megan and I live on the southern Oregon coast. I am a trauma-informed, Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist (EPDH) with a deep passion for prevention-based oral health care and social impact. I've spent 20+ years in the dental field developing the skills, vision, and resilience to now run my own mobile clinic. I first started my independent hygiene clinic in a brick-and-mortar location, but have now shifted that vision to have mobile outreach capabilities. <strong>35 out of Oregon's 36 counties are designated as dental health professional shortage areas and I intend to do everything I can to reach those in need.</strong> Oral health is critical to one's overall health, yet lack of access to routine dental care is a health crisis.

<div>This GoFundMe is a humble request that I reluctantly made a campaign for.  It is not the route I wanted to go, yet I am at the end of my own saving account.  I am all in financially and find myself staring at the finish line just ahead.  A small donation from just a handful of people would help me achieve this mission.

<div>I've already acquired all of the dental equipment I need – much of it from starting my hygiene practice early in 2024. My 30' Airstream renovation is well underway, but I still have some major components to complete before I can open for service. I have already submitted for several grant opportunities and will continue to do so, but <strong>time is of the essence and I need to keep pushing forward.</strong>

<div>My <strong>ambitious</strong> goal is to have the clinic fully up and running by the end of August. The biggest remaining expenses are solar panels and the electrical system installation – essential for powering the dental equipment in an off-grid mobile setup. My objective being that in traveling to small towns and communities, I won't need to rely on plugging into shore power to operate. <strong>Additionally, leaving minimal carbon footprint.</strong>
