<div>Hallo allemaal, wij zijn Mathijs, Sander, Quinty, Camille, Faan, Ward en Manon en wij willen geld in zamelen om de waterput in Central Tuli te renoveren. In het Central Tuli-wildreservaat in Botswana bevindt zich een belangrijke waterput die jarenlang verschillende dieren, zoals giraffen, zebra’s, bavianen, elanden en impala’s van water voorzag. Helaas is de put slecht gebouwd, waardoor al het water verloren gaat.

<div>Wat is Tuli?
</div>
<div>Tuli is een uniek natuurgebied in het zuidoosten van Botswana, bekend om zijn ruige landschappen, zandstenen rotsformaties en rijke biodiversiteit. Het gebied trekt veel wilde dieren aan en vormt een belangrijk leefgebied voor verschillende soorten. Water is hier echter schaars, en de waterputten in het reservaat zijn cruciaal voor het overleven van de dieren, vooral in de droge seizoenen.

<div>Wat gaan we doen?
</div>
<div>Om deze waterbron weer functioneel te maken, willen we de put opnieuw bouwen, zodat het water behouden blijft. Daarnaast hopen we, als we voldoende geld inzamelen, de oude zonnepanelen te vervangen, zodat de waterpomp weer efficiënt kan werken. We gaan de renovatie zoveel mogelijk zelf uitvoeren, zodat elke donatie direct wordt besteed aan de bouwmaterialen en het herstel van de waterput, zodat we extra kosten aan ingehuurde mankracht kunnen besparen.

<div>Om dit project te financieren, lopen Mathijs, Sander, Ward, Faan en Manon een uitdagende halve marathon, die gedeeltelijk door de bush van Central Tuli zal gaan! Met deze sportieve challenge willen we aandacht vragen voor het belang van waterbronnen in het reservaat en zoveel mogelijk donaties ophalen.
