As we begin the activation of the formerly residential Scott Lots into additional neighborhood greenspace, the Friends of Medlock Park are hoping to gather contributions from our neighbors to support the construction of a bridge to connect the PATH trail in Medlock Park to the Scott Lots.
The Friends of Medlock Park have been awarded a $2200 grant by Park Pride to acquire the materials needed for the bridge.
We are now looking to our neighbors to support the construction and labor costs of the project!!
The bridge will allow neighbors to access the new passive use greenspace and create more opportunities for leisure recreation outside of the baseball fields of Medlock Park.
We are hoping to begin construction in early 2018 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Memorial Day.
We would appreciate any type of donation you can provide to our cause.

**Please note Druid Hills Youth Sports holds the 501(c)3 under which the Friends of Medlock Park can accept tax deductible donations. All proceeds from this campaign will go DIRECTLY to the bridge project.
