Help Medium Build Go On Tour!!

My Sweet Friends!

Medium Build is quickly growing into a national touring act but we need help to keep this ship Alaskan and independent!! We are set for a month long tour starting September 5th traveling throughout the East Coast and Midwest and we want you to join our support crew!

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Medium Build is independent, meaning we don’t have a record label or publisher giving us large advances to grow and tour. This is an advantage because it keeps us free creatively, BUT it’s hard to scale with a small checking account and part time jobs.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

For part of the tour, we are opening for another musician, who pays us a small fee for those gigs, and we earn some money selling merch. But this doesn’t come anywhere near to covering the full cost of touring, especially when we strike out on our own for solo shows. The following are some of the expenses we’ll cover with your donations:

• Rental Van for 4+ weeks

• Paying Bandmates a sustainable wage

• Gas and Food

• Lodging in every city we visit

• Flights to/from Alaska

• Purchase Merch and pay someone to sell it every night

• Gear Rental for guitar amps and keyboards that aren’t cost effective to fly with

• Booking Agent and MGMT fees

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

I want to keep this thing Alaskan and hire Alaskans whenever I can.

From open mic at the Taproot to a sold out show in Brooklyn! Look how far we’ve come!

I am desperate to get on the road and sing my songs and tell my stories - but I want to keep it healthy and sustainable!

Any money we have leftover will go toward the next tour and album. Looking at first of the year 2023 for our next EP!

No dollar will be put to waste.

This is my life’s work and I have no intention of stopping.
