My name is Charity Egesi, and I am asking for help because my life has been brought to a painful standstill.

I am currently suffering from a severe bone condition affecting my right pelvis and hip, and the pain has become overwhelming. This is not ordinary pain. It is constant, deep, and exhausting. Some days, it feels unbearable.

Because of this condition, I can no longer work. I can barely walk, and my independence has been taken away from me. My legs are now swelling, and doctors have explained that this is due to restricted blood flow caused by the severity of the condition. Watching my legs swell while feeling helpless has been frightening and emotionally devastating.

An MRI scan confirmed that there is extensive abnormal bone growth and damage on the right side of my pelvis and hip. My doctors have made it clear that this condition is serious, progressive, and dangerous. I have been warned that without urgent surgery and further specialist treatment, the damage could become permanent and life-threatening. There is also serious medical concern about the nature of the condition, and further investigations are required.

Every day I live with pain, fear, and uncertainty. I struggle to sleep. I struggle to move. I struggle to cope. Yet the most painful part is knowing that treatment exists, but I cannot afford it.

I am raising funds to cover:

• Urgent surgery

• Specialist medical care and further investigations

• Hospital bills, medications, and imaging

• Recovery and rehabilitation after surgery

I would never ask for help if I had another choice. This fundraiser is my only chance to receive the treatment I desperately need and to regain my ability to live, work, and walk without constant pain.
