<div>Als ich zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben ernsthaft erkrankte, war ich stark von Angst geprägt und dadurch nicht in der Lage, auf die Signale meines eigenen Körpers zu achten.
</div>
<div>Das führte dazu, dass ich mich hauptsächlich auf ärztliche Einschätzungen verließ, anstatt in mich hineinzuhören – mit schweren Folgen.
</div>
<div>Diese Aussage ist nicht wertend gemeint.
</div>
<div>Ich möchte meine Geschichte schlicht und ehrlich schildern – so, wie sie sich ereignet hat. 
</div>

<div>Im Jahr 2023 begann ich, Schmerzen im unteren Rücken zu spüren, die in meine linke Gesäßhälfte ausstrahlten. Mehrere Ärzt:innen diagnostizierten eine Reizung im Iliosakralgelenk und empfahlen mir, Übungen aus dem Internet zu machen. Doch der Schmerz blieb – und wurde mitunter stärker. Monate später suchte ich erneut einen orthopädischen Spezialisten auf. Seine Empfehlung: mehr Sport – dabei war ich bereits aktiv. Ein MRT hätte zu diesem Zeitpunkt Klarheit bringen können, doch darauf wurde nicht hingewiesen. Kurz darauf ließ der Schmerz nach. Ich nahm meine sportliche Praxis wieder auf und schöpfte Hoffnung. Nach einer Fahrradtour trug ich mein Rad mit Kraftanstrengung in den Keller – an diesem Tag schien alles in Ordnung zu sein. Doch am nächsten Morgen wachte ich mit starken Schmerzen auf, die in Hüfte, Gesäß, Bein und nun auch bis in den linken Fuß ausstrahlten. Im Krankenhaus erhielt ich starke Schmerzmittel, bis ein MRT die Diagnose brachte: ein Bandscheibenvorfall mit gedehntem Faserring. Im Juni 2024 wurde ich mikrochirurgisch operiert. Leider viel zu spät. Der Eingriff verlief zwar technisch gut, und im Anschluss erhielt ich auch Physiotherapie. Nach einer so langen Phase körperlicher Destabilisierung wäre jedoch eine Reha dringend nötig gewesen. Diese hätte mir rechtlich zugestanden, wurde jedoch nicht veranlasst. Stattdessen hieß es lediglich, ich solle mich nicht beugen oder drehen – und nach vier Wochen könne ich den Sommer wieder genießen.

<div>Kurze Zeit später traten allerdings erneut Schmerzen und Kribbeln im Bein auf, diesmal auch im Fuß. Mein Körper war durch die lange Belastung und den Eingriff stark geschwächt, Nerven und Muskulatur waren überfordert. Diese Überlastung blieb unentdeckt, bis sich mein Zustand chronifizierte. Heute sind sowohl Nerven als auch Muskulatur im Bein und im Fuß dauerhaft betroffen. Ständiges Kribbeln, Brennen und Ziehen begleiten mich Tag und Nacht. Schon kurze Strecken von mehr als 500 Metern führen zu erheblichen Beschwerden. Für weitere Strecken als kurz vor die Tür benötige ich einen Rollstuhl.

<div>Rückblickend weiß ich, dass ich in dieser Zeit viele Fehler gemacht habe – und ich übernehme die volle Verantwortung dafür. Ich handelte oft aus Angst, nicht aus Ruhe oder Klarheit. Die anhaltenden Schmerzen haben mein Leben tiefgreifend verändert. Ich konnte nicht mehr als Pädagogin arbeiten und habe mich über die Zeit verschuldet, da ich zahlreiche Spezialist:innen aufsuchte, ohne eine wirkliche Besserung zu erfahren. Die Belastung der Schmerzen war so groß, dass ich teilweise nur noch im Bett lag und keinen Ausweg mehr sah – ich wollte mir das Leben nehmen. Doch im Winter 2025 begann sich etwas zu verändern. Ich lernte wieder zu glauben und zu vertrauen und beschloss, die Zuständigkeit für meine Heilung zu übernehmen – innerlich wie äußerlich. Mir wurde klar, dass ich kurz vor meiner Erkrankung kein ausgeglichenes Leben geführt hatte, sondern von traumabedingten Glaubenssätzen gesteuert worden war. Diese zeigten sich in unterschiedlichen Lebensbereichen und beeinflussten ebenfalls meine Gesundheit.

<div>Die große Kehrwende kam mit dem Wiedersehen einer Frau, die ich aus einem peruanisch-deutschen Heilzentrum kannte. Dieses hatte ich schon vor meiner Erkrankung besucht. Dort waren auch damals schon Erfolge bei der Behandlung von Nervenschäden möglich gewesen. Ich begann die Zusammenarbeit mit einer erfahrenen Mitarbeiterin des Zentrums. Veranlasst wurde eine vierwöchige Heilpflanzen- und Massagetherapie. Gezielter Muskelaufbau, Fastenphasen und eine angepasste Ernährungsumstellung ergänzten die Behnadlung. Schon in dieser kurzen Zeit spürte ich, dass sich mein System wieder in Richtung Heilung bewegte – statt in der Resignation zu verharren. Jedoch war mir auch bewusst, dass vier Wochen nicht ausreichen, um eine tiefgreifende Regeneration von Nerven und Muskulatur zu ermöglichen. Deshalb plane ich einen längeren Aufenthalt im Heilzentrum direkt in Peru – je nach Heilungsverlauf zwischen zwei und fünf Jahren. Die Therapie basiert auf der traditionellen Weisheit der Shipibo-Heilkunst in Kombination mit speziellen Massagen und naturheilkundlichen Ansätzen. Diese Reise ist mein nächster Schritt – zurück in ein schmerzfreies, selbstbestimmtes Leben. Mit deiner Unterstützung kann ich diesen Weg gehen. Jeder Beitrag hilft – von Herzen danke.

<div>When I became seriously ill for the first time in my life, I relied heavily on medical professionals. I was full of fear, and in that state, I couldn’t hear what my own body was trying to tell me.
</div>

<div>This isn’t meant as a judgment.
</div>
<div>I simply want to share my story honestly and in detail – just as it happened.
</div>

</div>
<div>In 2023, I began experiencing lower back pain that radiated into my left buttock. Several doctors diagnosed irritation in the sacroiliac joint and recommended doing exercises from the internet. But the pain persisted — and at times even worsened.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Months later, I sought out an orthopedic specialist again. His advice: more exercise — even though I was already active. An MRI could have provided clarity at that point, but it was never suggested.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Shortly afterward, the pain subsided. I resumed my physical activities and felt hopeful again. After a bike ride, I carried my bicycle down to the basement with some effort — everything seemed fine that day. But the next morning, I woke up with severe pain radiating through my hip, buttock, leg, and now all the way into my left foot. In the hospital, I was given strong painkillers until an MRI finally revealed the diagnosis: a herniated disc with a stretched annulus fibrosus.

<div>In June 2024, I underwent micro-surgical treatment. Unfortunately, far too late. The procedure itself went well from a technical standpoint, and I did receive physiotherapy afterwards. However, after such a prolonged period of physical destabilization, a rehabilitation program would have been essential. Although I was legally entitled to one, it was never arranged. Instead, I was simply told not to bend or twist – and that after four weeks, I should be able to enjoy the summer again.
</div>

</div>
<div>Shortly after the surgery, I experienced renewed pain and tingling in my leg, this time also affecting my foot. My body, worn out by the long strain and the surgery, was overwhelmed — nerves and muscles were under too much pressure. This overload went unnoticed until my condition became chronic.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, both nerves and muscles in my leg and foot are permanently affected. Constant tingling, burning, and pulling sensations accompany me day and night. Walking even short distances of more than 500 meters leads to significant discomfort. I need a wheelchair for longer distances than just a few steps outside.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Looking back, I know I made many mistakes — and I take full responsibility for them. I often acted out of fear, not from a place of calm or clarity. The ongoing pain has deeply changed my life. I could no longer work as a kindergarten teacher and became indebted over time as I visited numerous specialists without experiencing any real improvement. The burden and the pain became so heavy that I often stayed in bed and saw no way out — I wanted to end my life.
</div>

<div>But in the winter of 2025, something began to shift. I decided to take action for my healing — both internally and externally. I also came to realize that, in the period just before my illness, I hadn’t been living a balanced life—instead, I was governed by trauma-rooted beliefs that shaped many parts of my life and also had an impact on my health.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Another shift came when I met a woman I got to know in a Peruvian-German healing center I had visited before my illness. Even then, I remember there had already been successes in the treatment of nerve damage.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I then began an initial four-week therapy in Germany, working with an experienced practitioner trained at the center. The treatment included herbal remedies and massage therapy, complemented by targeted muscle-building, fasting periods, and a tailored nutritional adjustment. Even in this short time, I could feel my system shifting back toward healing — instead of remaining stuck in resignation.

<div>But four weeks are not enough to enable deep regeneration of nerves and muscles. That’s why I am planning a longer stay at the healing center in Peru — depending on the course of healing, anywhere between two and five years. The therapy is based on the traditional wisdom of Shipibo healing, in combination with special massages and natural medicine.
</div>

<div>This journey is my next step — back to a pain-free, self-determined life.
