Hi my name is Kawthar I'm fundraising for a Mosque in a small village in Madina-oula, Guinea. I started building this mosque over 2 years ago but lack of funds and the unfortunate cost of materials and labour going up by 5 times and the rainy season delayed the completion of the Mosque, we're now at the final stages in completing the Mosque we want to open the mosque to the public in a few weeks time for the month of Ramadan 2025

Windows and doors have now been installed since this picture was taken. Pending work left to be completed. Celling, electrical work, internal carpentry, tiling, carpet, leveling the floor, painting, external water tightening. Installation of fans, water well, WC and running water system etc.

This is a 95% Muslim village and the one Mosque they have is not enough for the worshippers, I'm trying to build another mosque with many facilities hopefully it will connect the community and support them on a day to day basis. Our help is for anyone who needs help we don't look at colour or creed. The Mosque will have prayer facilities, for Man and women, children's activities, children's classes for up to 70-100 children for their religious needs ( free tuition) and first stop help for anyone who needs help with any emergency. It will also have a water well to serve the community with clean water. I have done many well in the village and it's still not enough in the hot month of the year, there's still a queue for water hopefully this well of the mosque will help make it easier for them to get more clean water.

We have been supporting people of Madina-oula village with many things this mosque will allow us to be more organised in helping people in need.

This mosque will help us store many essentials like rice, sugar, salt and oil etc to distribute during the month of Ramadan when people fast without much food. We also cook hot meals to feed the poor and the needy hopefully the mosque compound which is a large area will help us to do that more easily more often. Hopefully.

I have been providing food pack for 2 years running thanks to the donations from generous brothers and sisters and from people whom I've never met. I hope to continue with that.

I'm hopeful we can raise this money with your help to complete this project for the benefit of this beautiful community.
