<div><em>She Said What She Said</em> is a global documentary series exploring motherhood, identity, and inequality through the lens of a single mother (me!) traveling the world with her child.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Created, directed, and hosted by a single mum with a backpack, a child and a mission, <strong>this series centers the voices of women raising children in a world that was not built with us in mind.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will capture raw conversations, lived experiences, and untold truths from women around the world. I want to make very clear that this isn’t a travel vlog, where I share itineraries and 'day in the lives'. This is political. This is personal. This is storytelling as resistance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>why the heck am I’m doing this?</strong>
</div>
<div>As a single mom, I know what it means to parent while being unheard, unseen, and underestimated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a traveler, I know that women—especially mothers—are too often left out of global narratives. Especially when we don’t fit into the system.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This series is my way of flipping the lens and amplifying the voices that matter most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>what your donations will fund:</strong>
</div>
<div>This is a completely independent project—and I’m doing it all on my own:
</div>
<div>Producing, directing, editing, interviewing, traveling... with my daughter in tow.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Your donations will directly support:</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Travel Costs (flights, visas, ground transport to reach interviewees in places normal tourists don't go)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Filming Equipment (microphones, lighting, backup drives)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Post-Production (editing, subtitles, translations, music licensing)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Fair Pay for Local Collaborators (interpreters, guides, photographers and the interviewees of course!)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>&lt;3 how you’ll be honored</strong>
</div>
<div>I believe money in the right hands can lead to the most incredible movements and changes in our world.
</div>
<div>Money, at its core, is power.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Raising funds for this project means that power gets redistributed—to mothers, locals, and creatives whose voices are too often overlooked.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It means paying local women for their stories.
</div>
<div>It means hiring local talent instead of extracting culture.
</div>
<div>It means offering dignity, not charity.
</div>
<div>It means showing up with resources, not just a camera.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every single donor will be named in the credits at the end of each episode, because when I say this work is community-powered, <strong>I mean it!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for believing in this work.
