The Gaza Genocide: The Search for Safety and a New Beginning
Donation protected
Hi everyone. My name is Abdulrahman Abo Ghaben, and I am 22 years old. I am from Gaza, a place I have always called home. But now, as I am surrounded by the rubble and devastation, I can hardly recognize it. Everything I once had, everything I once dreamed of, has been destroyed. I was a student, passionate about my studies and hopeful for a bright future. But the ongoing genocide has taken it all away. My university, the place where I poured my heart and soul into learning, now lies in ruins. The hotel I used to make a modest wage is also gone. My ambitions and goals feel like distant memories, overshadowed by the immediate need to survive.
The last few months have been a relentless nightmare of fear, displacement, and loss. My family and I have endured unimaginable horrors, fleeing from one place to another, seeking refuge from the constant bombardment. We have been forced to leave behind our home, our possessions, and our sense of security. Every day, we hope for an end to the violence and destruction. But with each passing moment, the fear grows stronger. I know I must do everything I can to protect my family of 11 and find a way out of this misery. We have no means left to escape Gaza, no resources to start anew.
I dream of evacuating Gaza with my 11 family members to move to Egypt to start a new beginning. In Egypt, I hope to rebuild our lives, pursue my education, and have the resources and opportunities to live safely and securely.
Fortunately, my brother lives in Egypt and is already helping us by applying for visas so that we can move there and start our new life. His support gives us hope that we can soon leave this turmoil behind and find peace and stability in Egypt.
It is not easy for me to ask for help, but I have no other choice. We need assistance to leave Gaza and find safety. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our lives. I kindly ask for your help in this urgent and dangerous situation. Please share our campaign with anyone you know. Your support and generosity can give us the chance to live in safety and peace, to rebuild our lives, and to find hope once more.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your kindness and support. We will never forget your help in our darkest times.
Warmly,
Abdul
