Olá a todos, sou o Henrique, tenho 21 anos e há 4 meses saí de Portugal à procura de trabalho para sustentar os estudos de música que quero fazer em Amsterdão. Passei por Espanha e França onde não tive sucesso em encontrar emprego. Chegando à Holanda trabalhei 2 meses em Oss (aldeia) e há 1 mês mudei me para Amsterdão para ter a possibilidade de estar ativo musicalmente com outros músicos. Estou a trabalhar full time mas ainda não encontrei um quarto que possa alugar permanentemente o que me está a fazer gastar a grande maioria do meu salário num sub-aluguer, tendo quase nenhuma margem para poupanças com objetivo de alugar. A partir do momento em que estiver num quarto permanente posso começar a poupar para pagar propinas.

Quero deixar claras as limitações de como este dinheiro pode ser gasto, citando as em seguinte:

Hello everyone, my name is Henrique, I’m 21 years old, and four months ago I left Portugal in search of work to support the music studies I want to pursue in Amsterdam. I passed through Spain and France, where I was unsuccessful in finding a job. Upon arriving in the Netherlands, I worked for 2 months in Oss (a village), and a month ago I moved to Amsterdam to have the opportunity to be musically active with other musicians. I’m working full-time, but I still haven’t found a permanent room to rent, which is forcing me to spend the majority of my salary on a sublet, leaving me with almost no margin to save toward getting a permanent place. As soon as I have a permanent room, I can start saving to pay tuition fees.

I want to clearly state the limitations on how this money can be spent, as follows:

First month’s rent and rental deposit for accommodation

Food and drinks (excluding alcoholic beverages)

University tuition fees

Health insurance

Bicycle rental (Swapfiets) – exceptionally, in case of emergency

Household maintenance products (cleaning, repairs, etc.)
