Help a Silenced Lecturer Fight Injustice.

I am seeking urgent support to defend myself in an upcoming legal battle.

As a committed Christian, my faith guides every decision I make, especially when it comes to standing up for what is right and just. When I witnessed unethical behaviours at my workplace, ranging from bullying and racism to unethical practices and other forms of misconduct, I felt morally obligated to speak out. Turning a blind eye to wrongdoing would have gone against my core Christian values of integrity, compassion, and fairness.

One of the practices I could not stay silent about was the huge salaries senior managers were awarding themselves, while at the same time laying off hardworking employees under the guise of financial difficulties. This is despite the fact that they are the ones who have caused this financial difficulty. I raised concerns about these contradictions because behind each redundancy is a family struggling to make ends meet, something my faith compels me to defend.

My decision to question these practices, as well as to blow the whistle on many other malpractices and unjust treatments by senior managers, has resulted in severe retaliation. I have been falsely accused of “being insubordinate” and “questioning senior managers’ integrity”. As a result, I have been suspended for challenging those in power, even though all I did was stand up for what is right. My workplace is now threatening to terminate my employment under false charges.

This upcoming legal battle is not just about me. I hope to pave the way for other employees to be treated fairly in the future and bring hope to others who might face the same challenges.

My Personal Situation

This struggle comes at a very difficult time for my family. My wife is pregnant with our first child, and as she prepares to go on maternity leave, I will soon be our only source of income. The fear of losing my job while knowing I need to support my growing family has been overwhelming, but I cannot back down from doing what is right.

Why I Need Your Help

To defend myself and hold these senior managers accountable, I need to hire a solicitor with expertise in employment law and whistleblower protections. Legal costs are expected to exceed £35,000. Unfortunately, I don’t have the financial resources to take this on alone, and without help, I may be forced to back down and face unjust dismissal.
