Help me set the world record for drawing stussies

Some call it the stussy. Others call it the “cool S.” And some even call it the “super S.” Its terminology is as mysterious as its origin story, yet we all know it. The stussy transcends eras and cultures. From ancient cave dwellers (probably) to eighth graders with limited art skills, it has been a unifying symbol of good vibes and good times.

 

Plus, it’s the only thing that I really know how to draw.

 

That’s why—for the second anniversary of my music/culture/politics/humor newsletter AwkwardSD (https://awkwardsd.substack.com/)—I’m going to try to break the world record for most consecutive hours spent drawing stussies.

 

To be honest, I don’t know if such a record exists, but since Guinness doesn’t keep track of such accomplishments (because they’re cowards), and Google doesn’t give me any answers, I’m just going to go ahead set the record myself.

 

On Friday, October 1, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. (PST), I’m going to livestream my attempt to set the world record of consecutive hours spent drawing stussies. Those interested in watching me descend into stussy madness can follow along via Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/rybradford

 

This event will also serve as a fundraiser/subscription drive for AwkwardSD. The money I raise will help cover everyday living expenses, and will enable me to keep AwkwardSD independent, fresh, and irreverent.
