Help me save my widow aunt's family in Gaza

Dear compassionate community, my name is Aischa Awad, urgently reaching out for your support to get my aunt, who’s a been a widow since 2022 raising her 6 children on her own as a single mother ever since, from Gaza safely to Egypt.

Here is the story of her family:

Hi, my name is Omar Sarsour a 22 year old Palestinian lives in Gaza . I'm the only man of the house (my mother, 4 sisters, and 1 brother) after my dad passed away in 2022 after struggling with cancer as he was unable to receive treatment due to the siege imposed on Gaza Strip. My father was a loving father who studied engineering in Germany but decided to move back home to raise his family there and benefit his society.

Our lives changed after the 7th of October after the war started, we had to evacuate our home on the 9th of October the third day of war under the airstrikes after the bombing of our building without previous waring and our home is partially damaged and our neighborhood is completely destroyed.

My older sister Sara (24 year old) is a doctor who graduated from medical school in 2023 and now she is unable to complete her internship after the war because most of the hospitals in Gaza are out of service and destroyed. Personally, I was studying medical sciences at Al Aqsa university, I was in my last year and now I’m not be able to graduate as my university is completely destroyed.

My younger sister Monya is a 20 year-old studying computer engineering in the second year at same university as me. My younger sisters Hala (16 year old), Dana (14 year old) and my younger brother Mohamed (9 year old ) are all in schools. We were displaced 7 times from one place to another moving between north and middle and south of Gaza strip searching for a safe place and we are currently in Rafah.

The money will be used to get me and my family safely to Egypt. Currently, Egypt requires Palestinian to pay over 5000 USD for each person to be able to cross the border. The money will be used to get us safely to Egypt and help us secure an apartment for a temporary period.

My mother is the sole breadwinner for our family. She works as a teacher providing for our entire family. Now, with no source of income and lack of safety we have no choice but to seek this option.

I appeal to you to your kindness to spread this campaign to bring back hope and life for me and my family. We are seeking this road and we feel like we ran out of options and alternatives. We are hopeful still, that we will be able to save my family and bring us to safety.
