Hi everyone, my name is Kristine Velasquez, and I’m reaching out in a moment of deep worry and hope. My sweet Chloe, a 12-year-old white Maltese, is facing a life-threatening heart condition. I’ve had her since she was just 7 weeks old, and she’s truly the light of my life. Chloe is more than just a pet she’s family, and her presence brings so much joy and comfort to my days.

Recently, Chloe has been struggling to breathe and urgently needs to see a veterinary cardiologist. The situation is critical, and she may require overnight oxygen support and surgery as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the costs for these exams, treatments, and surgery are overwhelming, and I simply can’t manage them on my own. Every day, I worry about her health and do everything I can to keep her comfortable, but I know she needs professional care right away.
