Hi everyone,
My name is Matt Bowman, and I’m honoured to have been selected to represent Peru in the inaugural Campeonato Sudamericano FIA de Karting de 4 Tiempos, taking place this February in Uruguay. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support to make it happen.
Originally from Ashby de la Zouch in England, I’ve lived in Peru for nearly six years, proudly calling this incredible country my home. Over this time, I’ve immersed myself in the world of karting, competing in events like the Campeonato 390 Sport with the Rotax Max Challenge in La Chutana. I’ve also worked with the Touring Automóvil Club to inspire young drivers to take up karting—a sport that’s given me so much joy and purpose.
Competing at this level means preparing physically, mentally, and financially to ensure I can perform at my best and represent Peru with pride. However, the costs of training, race registration, logistics, and technical support are significant. That’s why I’m asking for help.
Your support, no matter the amount, will make a huge difference. Funds raised will go directly toward:
- Race registration and entry fees (25%)
- Travel and accommodation costs for the event (20%)
- Kart rental and technical support (45%)
- Training and preparation to ensure I can compete at the highest level (10%)
