<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, my name is<strong> Georghette</strong>, and I am a proud <strong>pickleball athlete</strong> from<strong> Los Barriles,</strong> Baja California Sur,<strong> Mexico</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Los Barriles is a small fishing town on the Sea of Cortez. It's a place where neighbors know each other by name, where people celebrate one another's successes, and where dreams often begin with the encouragement of an entire community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Growing up here, I learned that <strong>hard work,</strong> <strong>kindness, and perseverance</strong> can take you farther than you ever imagined.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I have the incredible honor of<strong> representing Mexico </strong>in <strong>international pickleball competitions</strong>, beginning with <strong>Vietnam</strong> and, <strong>China</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Being selected to wear my country's colors is one of the proudest moments of my life. I don't just represent myself—I represent my family, my hometown, and every young athlete who dreams of proving that incredible things can come from a small place.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Like many amateur athletes, qualifying for international competition does not mean the journey is funded. My family and I are responsible for covering the travel expenses that make this opportunity possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Vietnam Goal</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As I will be traveling with my parents, who support me throughout this journey, our estimated expenses are:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>✈️ Round-trip airfare for our family of three: $14,000 USD
</div>
<div>Lodging: $500 USD
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Total Goal: $14,500 USD
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The costs for my tournament in China are still being finalized and will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For my family, this is a significant investment, but it is one we are making because we believe opportunities like this can change a life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you've ever visited Los Barriles, played pickleball here, made friends in our community, or simply believe that young athletes deserve the chance to compete on the world stage, I would be honored to have your support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter the size, helps bring me one step closer to competing against some of the best players in the world while proudly representing Mexico.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And if you're unable to contribute financially, sharing my story with your friends, family, pickleball club, or community is an incredible gift as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of the beautiful things about pickleball is that it creates friendships that cross borders. This sport has introduced me to people from Mexico, Canada, the United States, and around the world. It has shown me that our community is much bigger than where we live.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, I'm asking that community to help me take the next step.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I promise to compete with passion, humility, and gratitude. Every time I step onto the court, I will remember that I am carrying the support of everyone who believed in me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for believing that dreams from a small town can reach the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With all my gratitude,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
