<div>hello friends. i'm making this fundraiser because i am completely out of money, still recovering from months of being very sick and want desperately to move forward with my life now that i am finally starting to notice some improvement in my health.

<div>i have been sick for about three months now. it started with pneumonia, and then i contracted covid while my body was trying to recover from that. i lost the covid lottery and ended up with long covid, which still hasn't gone away completely. if you're one of the few people who has seen or talked to me audibly lately, you know how absolutely shot my voice is. i can't sing, i can't laugh, i can barely talk.

<div>i'm also over a month overdue for my MS infusion as well because they don't like to administer immuno-suppressants while you're already sick, meaning on top of everything else, i'm experiencing flare up symptoms like extreme fatigue, weakness, twitching and spasms, and brain fog. it's been hell.

<div>i've been to the hospital for breathing treatments 3 times. i've been on 4 rounds of steroids and 3 rounds of antibiotics. i've basically been told "idk i guess just wait it out" at this point. so i am. i am slowly, slowly improving but still not enough to do much more than rest and light housework just to keep up with things like laundry and dishes.

<div>you may also know that i'm in the process of moving from connecticut to new york, which has been extremely hard due to how far away i'm moving and how sick i've been. what should have taken a week, maybe two, has been months and still not completely done.

<div>in addition to medical bills and medication costs, i've completely drained my bank account paying for things like gas, tolls, car maintenance, storage unit rent, etc.

<div>i want to look for work here as soon as i'm not sick anymore, but right now i'm not physically able to. i make a small amount from selling things online, but it's not enough to get by on.

<div>my bank account is in the triple digits negative. i've done what i can to cut out unnecessary spending such as cancelling any monthly streaming services, eating out, etc (i don't really do much beyond that, i'm not a big spender in general) but my expenses are still piling up and i'm running on less than fumes.

<div>my phone has been shut off and works on wifi only.

<div>my car is no longer registered and i cannot re-register it in NY until i can afford to insure it. it also needs an oil change and snow tires if i'm to be able to safely drive on these rural roads. it's already begun to snow almost daily here.

<div>once my cough is gone and i receive my MS infusion, i want to look for work but because without my car, i would not be able to get to a job. where i live now is very remote, there is no public transportation and the nearest town is about 20 minutes away by car.
