 On July 4, 2026, my life changed completely.

 A fire in La Plata, Argentina destroyed the home where I was living, taking away practically everything I had. During the fire, I became trapped inside the home and suffered significant burns and respiratory injuries.

 Thank God, I was rescued alive and received the medical attention I needed.
</div>

<div>
 After several weeks of recovery, including several days in intensive care, I am doing much better today. Little by little, I am getting back to my life, but I still have a long road ahead of me.

 I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported me during those first difficult days: those who prayed for me, checked on my recovery, made a donation, or shared my story.

 Now begins a new chapter: facing the aftermath of the fire and helping restore the affected home.

 The home was a rental property, and the fire caused significant damage to the property. Unfortunately, there was no fire insurance to cover these damages, and the costs necessary to repair it have been much higher than I can afford on my own.

 How will the funds be used?
</div>

</div>
<div>
 The funds raised will be used primarily for the repair and restoration of the home affected by the fire.
</div>

 Initially, a repair estimate of ARS $5,110,000 was prepared, which included electrical installation work, wall and plaster repairs, interior painting, floor repairs, materials, and debris removal.
</div>

</div>
<div>
 However, as the condition of the home could be assessed more thoroughly, additional damage and needs arose that were not included in the initial estimate. For this reason, the repair costs have increased considerably.

 So far, the expenses related to the repair and restoration of the home have reached approximately $9,000 USD.
</div>

 The funds will be used, as needed, for:

 * Electrical installation and repairs.
</div>

 * Repair of walls, plaster, and affected surfaces.

 Our goal is to complete the necessary repairs and restore the home after the damage caused by the fire.

 El pasado 4 de julio de 2026, mi vida cambió por completo.

 Un incendio en La Plata, Argentina destruyó la vivienda donde vivía, llevándose prácticamente todo lo que tenía. Durante el incendio quedé atrapado dentro de la vivienda y sufrí quemaduras de consideración y afectación en las vías respiratorias.

 Gracias a Dios, fui rescatado con vida y pude recibir la atención médica que necesitaba.

 Después de varias semanas de recuperación, incluyendo varios días en terapia intensiva, hoy me encuentro mucho mejor. Poco a poco estoy retomando mi vida, pero todavía tengo un largo camino por delante.

 Quiero agradecer de todo corazón a todas las personas que me apoyaron durante esos primeros días: quienes oraron por mí, estuvieron pendientes de mi recuperación, hicieron una donación o compartieron mi historia.

 La vivienda era alquilada y el incendio ocasionó daños importantes en la propiedad. Lamentablemente, no había un seguro contra incendios que pudiera cubrir estos daños, y los costos necesarios para repararla han sido mucho más altos de lo que puedo afrontar por mi cuenta.

 ¿Cómo se utilizarán los fondos?

 Los fondos recaudados serán destinados principalmente a la reparación y recuperación de la vivienda afectada por el incendio.

 Inicialmente se realizó un presupuesto de reparación por ARS $5.110.000, que incluía trabajos de instalación eléctrica, reparación de paredes y revoques, pintura interior, reparación de pisos, materiales y retiro de escombros.

 Sin embargo, a medida lo que se pudo evaluar mejor el estado de la vivienda, surgieron daños y necesidades adicionales que no estaban contemplados en el presupuesto inicial. Por esta razón, los costos de reparación han aumentado considerablemente.

 Hasta el momento, los gastos relacionados con la reparación y recuperación de la vivienda ya alcanzan aproximadamente los US$9,000.
