<div>A little over a year ago, a severe storm hit my home and changed everything. A tree branch crashed through the roof in my kitchen, and on the same day, another branch shattered my car’s back window. Since then, dealing with the insurance company has been a constant struggle—they’ve made it nearly impossible to get the funds I need for repairs. As time has passed, mold has started to grow on my clothes, shoes, furniture, and even some of the wood in my kitchen. To make matters worse, my car broke down, and I had to find a replacement just to keep going. Business has been slow lately. I’m a music producer, songwriter, and vocal coach, and I also shoot and edit videos and recently started doing photo shoots. I’m not a big fan of handouts, but I could seriously use some help getting back on my feet.
