Raise some money to pay my mom’s hospital bills

My parents are staying here in Winnipeg as visitors. The first time they came here was year 2013. We are all happy especially my kids. And as the only daughter, my heart is so full that I’m with them in this beautiful country. And all that happiness was changed into worries when my mom was brought to emergency. At first we all thought it was inky a simple heartburn and dry cough. She can’t sleep and eat for almost two weeks because of her cough. She’s having difficulty in breathing, can’t sleep at night, and whenever lying flat on the bed she feels that she’s getting drowned. So we decided to bring her to the doctor and the doctor says her chest was all clear, so he reccommended to do an x-ray but gave her some puffers thinking it’s only an asthma. By that time, we told the doctor that my mon doesn’t have any travel insurance at the moment, so he advice to do the puffers for now and if anything didn’t get any better do the x-ray. So we all thought everything will get better, but after two days her cough bothers her more that she really can’t sleep at night. So after a day we did the x-ray, we went back to the doctor. When I was about to say something about her asthma the doctor already got the x-ray results. And he said, my mom’s lungs has so many fluids and her heart was really enlarge and we have to bring her right away to the emergency. I don’t know what to say at that moment, I got frozen and thinking everything is only a dream. I can’t help myself but cry while talking to the doctor. And the doctor knows that we don’t have insurance for her so he just gave my non some medication to take for that evening til the next day. But we decided just to bring her to the hospital. We didn’t mind the bills, all we’re thinking that moment is for my mom to get better and to be saved. She stayed at the hospital for two days, and we were billed for almost $10,000 and the hospital wanted us to pay that for 12months. We will go back again to see a cardiologist and that will be added again to our bill. And we are all hoping and praying that my mon will be better soon and will start to be that happy and energetic woman I know.
