<div>Hi, my name is Rachel Krentzman, I am a physical therapist, yoga therapist and now a Hakomi psychotherapist. But at heart, I am and have always been a writer, and feel compelled to tell my story in the hope that others will understand the healing power of yoga and mindfulness. I have two books on yoga for back health, but this project is different. This is a book I started writing over 25 years ago and have put my heart and soul into for the last 7 years. The truth is, I am scared of putting this work out into the world. It's a boldly honest and vulnerable memoir covering many topics including family and religious trauma, divorce and addiction. This story illustrates how finding yoga, and later Hakomi, has transformed my life and can help heal others who are struggling with destructive patterns in thought and action.

<div>Because this book is unique in that is combines memoir with yoga philosophy, it has been hard to publish through the usual means. I almost gave up but I was accepted to publish through a company recently and am trying to raise funds to complete the project.
