<div>My name is Adrian. I am facing eviction and have no where to go. I have tried every support system I can, to the point where my case manager isn't even sure how to help. Most social services in my area these days either have no money, are for veterans only, or require a child in the house. Money is restricted to a point where we have to make decisions about whether or not we can afford to eat.

<div>For four months my household has had almost no income, leading to our current situation. Donated money will be used to pay it back, with anything extra going towards September's rent so we can try to stay ahead of the curve.

<div>We went to eviction court as requested, where we were told we have to pay everything back within two weeks or we will be fully evicted. The lawyer and landlord were unwilling to negotiate, with the landlord not even showing up themselves. The mediator we spoke to offered us resources we'd already explored and made no attempt to speak to the lawyer to help us. Given the landlord's lack of appearance, the case was rescheduled to a week from now. But I do not have faith that the court will provide us much assistance. We were also told that the judge who handles these cases will simply choose to evict someone if they try to contest it.
