Hi friends, family, and kind strangers,

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted into one of the most competitive MFA programs in the country—for fiction writing—and I was awarded a full ride! That means my tuition is fully covered, and I’ll even receive a stipend once I’m settled. Here’s the catch: I just have to get myself across the country first.

Out of hundreds of applicants, only four people were accepted into the fiction track of this program—and I’m honored to be one of them. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grow as a writer, be mentored by some of the best in the field, and devote myself fully to the craft I love.

But moving across the country isn’t cheap. I’m currently raising funds to help with relocation expenses: travel, first month’s rent, deposit, basic furnishings, and other essentials to get me on my feet as I begin this next chapter in Oregon.
