Help me Marry my life Partner

Donativo protegido
Hello, my name is Chanelle and I'd like to finally turn my long distance relationship into a marriage. But in order for us to do this, we need a little help, and a lot of money to get my fiancee cleared to legally move to the United States.

I'm 25 years old, and my partner, Bell, is 23. We started dating online about 4 years ago and have been going strong since. We spend a lot of time and money traveling to see each other the few times a year that we actually can, and we've realized that it's time for us to stop spending all of this money on travel, and start thinking about settling down.

Bell currently resides in Ontario, Canada. I myself live in Texas of the United States. I'm sure you can imagine that's no short journey.

What we're trying to accomplish: We want to legally get married and file our paperwork for my partner, Bell, to be able to live with me in the United States. She has done so much for me in the 4 years we've been together, and I'd give everything to be able to spend the rest of my life with her.

Unfortunately, each step on this journey is quite expensive, and all of it has to be paid up front. There are no installment plans, and I know that I do not qualify for a loan large enough to cover the expenses.

Process Breakdown

The first step is that we must apply for a K1 Fiance Visa. Getting this will grant us a 90 day window to welcome Bell into the United States, and for us to marry. We have to marry in this 90 day window or our visa is forfeit, and we must start the process over again from the beginning.

The 2nd step, once we have paid our courthouse fees and are married under oath, we can submit her application for a green-card. While waiting on this application, she is not permitted to look for work in the US during this time. Thankfully, we have family here that is willing to support us during this processing time.

The 3rd step, we have to travel to San Antonio, Texas to undergo an interview process. We have to prove the validity of our relationship in order for her green card to be approved.

The 4th step, once her application for her green card is approved, we have to go back to San Antonio to have her properly documented so that we can finally start our life together. No more passports, no more traveling, no more long distance. We can finally start settling down.

This entire process is, quite frankly exhausting. And of course very expensive. But in the time we've developed our relationship we've come to find that our part in each others lives is paramount. I've yet to find compatibility with someone in my life in the same way I have with her.

She inspires me to work harder, be a better person, and challenge myself in ways I've been too afraid to do before. She's made a major positive impact in my physical and mental health, and I'd like to say I do the same for her. I feel that eliminating the distance between us will only allow for us to grow more, and take our lives further.

All donations will go towards our immigration and marriage process. Any excess money will go towards moving fees, travel for our interviews and paperwork, and maybe even an actual wedding.

A wedding is something we've just pulled off the table all together since, at this point, it's just not a financial possibility. But hey, we can dream right?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Any dollar helps, and every share gets our story to eyes that may not have been able to see it otherwise. Wish us luck on our journey towards the rest of our lives
