Help Me Keep My Kids in the Best Possible Environment

My children are my world, and I am doing everything in my power to ensure they have the stability, education, and healthcare they deserve. Due to ongoing legal proceedings, I am facing unexpected financial hurdles that threaten to uproot their lives. I am asking for help to cover legal expenses so I can continue advocating for what is best for them.

Beyond the emotional weight of this situation, my ability to work has been significantly impacted. I’ve been on approved FMLA due to worsening physical disabilities, which has drastically reduced my income at a time when every penny matters. While my autism adds additional challenges in managing these conditions, it is my physical limitations that have been the most restrictive. Despite these difficulties, I’ve done everything I can to continue showing up for my children in the ways that matter most—being there for school events, birthdays, and holidays—because no matter what happens, they deserve to know that I am here for them.

Keeping my kids here isn’t just about staying together—it’s about ensuring they have access to the best possible future. Where we live now, they have significantly better opportunities in education, healthcare, and specialized services. Moving them elsewhere would mean losing access to the resources they need to thrive. As someone with genetic conditions that require specialized care, I want to make sure my children have the same level of early intervention and support if or when they need it.

I know times are tough for so many people, and asking for help is never easy.
