Help The Hurricane Helen Victims of Avery Co NC

I will be traveling to Asheville, NC, as well as Spartanburg, SC, in my 2500 and (trailer if necessary) to help and assist local efforts and 3 long-time friends directly affected by Hurricane Helen. My plan is to load up my saw and tools, and to purchase and load as much as I can of water and non-perishable food in Pennsylvania before heading to the Carolinas Friday the 4th morning. I can only personally purchase so much and am looking for any and all donations to help fund the purchase of these items as well as any other items folks may require, such as fuel for generators or equipment to cut down fallen trees.

While I am in these areas, I will be reaching out to local shelters and food banks and dropping items off as needed. If I reach my goal and load the entire truck and trailer, I will be splitting these quantities among a few different shelters.

ANY AND ALL additional funds that surpass my capabilities to carry with my 2500 and trailer will be donated to local shelters and food banks for those affected by the storm. NO money will go to me and will only help fund help for those in need.

Hoping y’all who see this and are able to, will donate some money to help this effort. I can’t just sit by while thousands of good, hard-working Americans suffer from such an unforeseen tragedy. I’ll put in the sweat, time, and hard work. I'm just looking for a few dollars to bring as much as I can to those who lost so much.
