Help Me Help An Old Fogey

Many of you know I live with a family friend, Ken. Ken is in his late 80s, a decorated & retired Air Force Major, and a self professed Old Fogey (not a curmudgeon, he says, "that's too much work.").  Due to cancer and other health issues, Ken's health has significantly declined over the last 18 months. 18 months ago, we moved a mattress together, today he is wheelchair bound. Very recently, he decided to stop chemo.

Fortunately, Ken is still able to complain that I don't fold his laundry the right way and that I nag him all the time. 

Ken has lived a full life. He is dying. His medical care will be covered. I want to be able to cover everything else that will make this time worry free and enjoyable for him--cooking his favorite foods, housekeeping and home maintenance, grocery shopping, writing emails and letters, and just spending time with him. This GoFundMe will allow me to leave my full time job and do this for him full time.  We don't have a prognosis; this amount will cover my basic expenses for several months. It will give me the time to learn how to fold his laundry the way he likes and nag him a lot more than I do now. 

I know this is a LOFTY goal. Whatever I am able to raise will go towards bringing joy to Ken at this time of his life.
