<div>For most of my life, I’ve carried the weight of complex trauma and with it, a medical condition called hyperphagia, which causes extreme, uncontrollable hunger. These struggles have shaped my body and mind in painful ways, leading to over 15 chronic health conditions. I’ve spent years fighting to survive in silence until recently, when I was blessed to receive a scholarship for life-saving eating disorder treatment.

<div>I was incredibly lucky to receive a scholarship for life-saving eating disorder treatment something I never thought I’d be able to afford. But while my treatment is covered, the basic things I need to stay in recovery are not.
