Hello, My name is Said. I am a graduate student in the US.

I can't disclose too much information for my own safety, but I will share some relevant words...

Amidst the whole tension the US is going through, I really wish everyone is safe and with their loved ones. This tension has affected me in several ways where I have lost all hopes of fulfilling my dreams. I finished my undergrad almost two years ago and was hoping to also complete a master's program. However, I've been through several situations where I have been discriminated, criticized and, bullied. As a firm believer in peace and love, I have done my best to overcome all of these hardships and forgive those who have wronged me. But in the process, some of my trauma has intensified since I'm from a place where freedom is a luxury and people's rights are constantly violated. Maybe freedom has become a luxury in our current global society. However, I only wish for stability and peace for everyone and myself.

I have been admitted in a master's program and iniciated in a process that fullfils one of my goals: Becoming a counselor and sharing God's love with others. But I will only be able to study for one semester since I have suddenly lost a protection status and my current status is time sensitive. I have always done things the best way I can and under God and the law, but this time, it's beyond my choices, finacial reach, and emotional capabilities.

I've lost my job, sometimes my appetite, my motivation in school, any sense of safety, and any hopes of actually living and having a normal life. I feel afraid of going out and nightmares hunt me at night or when I actually manage to get some sleep. It is hard to know that you are doing your best and according to every principal and law and still feel vulnerable and afraid.

Some people are supporting me financially, but student processes have been hyperinflating and without a job I can't pay a lawyer. I actually payed a process a few months ago but it was done somehow wrong and I only have a few months left... I spent all of my savings on that process and now my dreams are on the line.

Recently I have received some funds but between paying tuition and other bills like undergrad tuition, I'm left with an empty balance and an anxious mind. BTW, the school DOES NOT do the process for me. I have to do it on my own. Schools only provide proof of admission and other pertaining forms, but the process must be figured out by the student.

In the past, I have tried fundraising and I have been criticized and bullied by family, friends, and random people. I'm doing it again as a last resort because someone wants to prove me wrong. But I am really not enthusiastic about this. I need to pay expedite processing and that's expensive. I just have less than two months left and regular processings takes at least 6 months. Search it up if you have to, don't ask me. I will not be answering any questions or calls regarding my self or status unless you are a lawyer or know someone that can actually help.

I don't expect you to understand or donate. The time will come when you will have hardships and I hope you remember me, especially if someone lends you some support, you find yourself overcoming those hard times, and you actually understand the true meaning of peace. Because, believe me, you don't know what heaven is until you have been through hell.

I will eventually find peace and embrace it with joy. Philippians 1:21

Thank you for your time, and if you would, thank you for sharing this with others.
