Hello, I'm Joshua, a Sanda Kickboxing competitor and coach based in London. I have exciting news! I have been invited to represent the UK at the November 2023 Sanda World Championships in Texas. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me and any help you can give me on my journey, no matter how small, would genuinely mean the world to me.

From the very first moment I walked into a martial arts gym at the age of 12 I was hooked. Since that moment I have dedicated my life to martial arts. I have spent countless hours training and honing my skills. The practice of Sanda is my passion, my job, put simply it's my life. I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
Competing at the World Championships will be the accumulation of 18 years of dedication and hard work!
What is Sanda?
Sanda Kickboxing, also known as Chinese Kickboxing, is a martial art that combines traditional kickboxing moves with wrestling. Originating from China, Sanda Kickboxing is renowned for its dynamic and high-octane style.

How will your money help me?
Despite Sanda being the national sport in countries such as China and Iran, it remains a niche sport in the UK and therefore does not attract the necessary funding. This means I will not receive any funding and will need to finance the venture myself. This includes:
Medicals
Flights
Visas
Hotels
Fight training
This is where you come in as any help to pay for the above expenses would be very much appreciated and help me achieve my goal of competing in the World Championships.
