Help me give the Webb family a backyard Playground

My name is Ruth Horn, God has blessed me with the talent to take broken or wore out things and restore them with an amazing new purpose.
A little over a year ago some of oldest and dearest friends had started a journey as grandparents that no one ever thinks they would experience. As grandparents ourselves, we have walked this journey with them but have truly felt helpless on how to physically help until now....
See the story is actually about the Webb family. Abbey is our friends daughter and she is married to her amazing husband Tyler. They have two children Nate and Georgia Mae. Georgia Mae is a 5 year old who has stage 4/high risk Neuroblastoma. she was diagnosed in August of 2018. A few weeks ago she was about to begin her last treatment when they found new spots in her hips and brain. So now they have started a whole new battle. I believe we together could help give them all a small sanctuary and playground in their own backyard. We recently visited with them and I noticed that the swing-set and the Backyard could use a little loving. I immediately thought about how we could redo it for them. The 6 1/2 hour drive kept me struggling for an answer, but then the Lord opened up an opportunity to go and so next week I am headed down to start this project!!They could really use some much needed family time .
Abby has been so good at keeping up with home even after running back and forth to doctor visits and in and out of long stays in hospitals with Georgia Mae. She has been an exceptional mom to Nate and still finds time for her sweet hubby Tyler. Speaking of Tyler, This young man serves Wake Forest county as a police Officer so his hours are pretty demanding. I say this because these kids are so strong and they lean heavily on the Lord for their strength. Now it’s time for all of us to step in and help!!!!
They inspire me and this opportunity encourages me to think outside of my own comfort and to give where I can. I am constantly reminded to not take one day for granted. Stay thankful and joy can be yours!!
The funds raised on this site will going toward redoing the Playground and cleaning up the landscaping. We will be purchasing sandpaper, paint, new canopy, rock climbing wall, climbing ropes, trapeze swing, glider slide, etc..... lawn timbers and other landscaping material. We will also be purchasing the safe Playground mulch to provide safety for the children. We will also have to pay any extra help to finish the work, I will keep posting updates as we go forward!! Every little bit will help❤️❤️❤️!!
