<div>For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Collin Crawford-Martin. Two years ago, I reignited an old flame from my junior high days with an incredible woman, and mother of three, who is now my fiancée, Elizabeth Long.

</div>

<div>Unfortunately, Elizabeth has been healing from a major car accident after hydroplaning during a rainstorm 2.5 years ago and crashing into a tree at 70 mph. She was blessed to have walked away from the accident, but the damage to her body and the traumatic brain injury left her in pain and ongoing discomfort for the last couple of years. Her recovery hit a plateau recently, and she began the journey of trying to discover the full extent of the internal damage. In doing so, doctors found a large mass in her brain.

<div>A neurologist at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento explained that it must be removed; otherwise, it could be fatal. So this brave soul will be going into surgery in early September to have it removed. We’re praying it all goes smoothly.

<div>The reason I’m reaching out today is that I want to do something special for my Beth before she goes into this procedure. Many of you know that the past few years have been incredibly challenging for both of us, and as a result, I’m not in a position to do much financially. However, I did win a pair of 49ers tickets at an event held by my billiards league, so we’re heading down to Santa Clara for Beth’s first-ever football game, and she’s been a lifelong Niner fan.

<div>What I’m hoping to do is turn this into a long, much-needed weekend getaway, where I can pamper her and help her feel as alive and loved as possible before facing this massive mental, physical, and emotional challenge. That would include a spa day, accommodations, some long-overdue wine-and-dine dates, walks on our favorite beach, and simply relaxing together.

<div>I truly hope I can make this happen, but I can’t do it alone. I’ve set a modest fundraising goal, based on GoFundMe’s suggestion, and anything helps. Even if it’s just gas money to get us down to the Bay Area and back home. Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
