Help me Get to NABJ Nationals
Donation protected
My name is Kenya, and I’m a hard-working student journalist at Emerson College. Since I've been in graduate school here at Emerson, I've learned the importance of putting in the work and networking. I've been doing both, and I would like to continue networking at NABJ!
I’m trying to get to NABJ’s National Conference this year, but I need some financial help. The conference is in Miami this year, and it would be my first time going. As a graduate student, I'm limited to only 20 hours of work. I believe I can fund my own flight and need a little help to fund a room. If I can get some help with registration, I think I'll be able to make it.
Registration is $275 for students, and I'll need some help with getting a room (along with some soft funds for food while in Miami). However, with your help, I can make it!
Check out some of the great things I've done since I've been in graduate school.
I got the opportunity to interview the legendary Monica Pearson, longtime news anchor at WSB-TV in Atlanta.
Covered the Boston Women's March. Here, I'm walking backwards to capture the march.
An opportunity to interview Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley of MA-7.
