Help Me Get to Henson
Hi, I am Zachery Garner, a puppeteer and actor. I have been passionate about the arts since I could talk. Last month, I auditioned to be a part of the Jim Henson Company’s Diversity Workshop, and last weekI was notified that I have been accepted into this prestigious workshop. I am over the moon with excitement for this amazing opportunity to participate and work with the legendary Jim Henson Company in Los Angeles,California.
Oh yeah, did I mention that the workshop will be in LA? Sunny LA where the people are thin and the air is thick. In order for me to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity I will need a lot of help and support from my community . I am a college student working hard to pursue my dream of working as a puppeteer and actor full time, which means I don’t currently have the finances to support the full cost of this experience. The following is a budget that I have put together that shows the cost of this life changing moment.
