If you know me, you know how hard I’ve worked to keep studying—juggling jobs, navigating challenges, and staying focused on my goal of becoming an educator who can make a lasting impact.

I was thrilled to be accepted into a Master’s in Education program, a step I’ve been working towards for years. This degree means more than just a qualification—it's the foundation for a career dedicated to inclusion, growth, and positive change in learning spaces.

But recently, I was hit with unexpected and disheartening news: due to post-Brexit changes in UK fee legislation, my tuition status has changed. I now have to pay overseas (international) fees—double the amount I originally planned for.

This decision was made after I had already enrolled and budgeted based on home fees. I was only informed recently, and unfortunately, there are no appeals or exceptions.

Why I'm Fundraising:

The total cost will now be difficult to manage alone. I’m working as much as I can, applying for scholarships, and cutting expenses, but it’s simply not enough. I’m fundraising to cover half of the remaining fees, which will give me the extra I need to complete this degree.
