help me get my CDA certificate

hello! my name is sage. i’m a 25 year old black nb lesbian living in atlanta. i’m extremely passionate about education and child care, but due to COVID, i have been unable to make meaningful strides towards this as my career. i was previously an assistant teacher at a pre-K program, but due to the school i was teaching at closing permanently as a result of COVID, i was made to put my career on hold. i was also planning on getting my master’s in english education this year so that i can be a traditional classroom teacher, but that had to be put on hold as well. 

i’m applying to more pre-K and preschool positions, and although i have teaching experience and my bachelor’s degree (not in education), i need a child development associate (CDA) certification to really get anywhere. early childhood education matters a lot to me, and there’s nothing that would bring me more joy than to apply this passion to a classroom of my own. getting my CDA certificate would be an important first step in my career, and i could use some help getting there.
