<div>Hello my name is Bernard Boyd. I am a 36 year old father to a 12 year old boy. My son was just six months old when I became ill with my first benign brain tumor. It took eighteen hours but the Neurosurgeon removed all of the tumor that was causing my headaches. I was blessed to get the opportunity to work for the same hospital that saved my life after the surgery. I worked for four months two jobs to saved up for my first apartment. I soon left the second job to focus my attention more on my son. I love my son more than life itself. As his father I'm trying to live long enough to see my son grow up to become a better version of me! Soon afterwards I began to feel that same feeling when pain killers won't take away the headaches. My brain tumor returned and it was larger than the last one. I felt like I couldn't win in life. Every time I made some progress in my life I had to start back over again. This brain tumor surgery took six hours and I knew it would take a lot to recover from this. I had to go to rehab to learn how to walk and talk again. I'm now experiencing swelling around my brain and I'm in and out of the hospital for seizures. Due to these unforseen health problems I had to resigned from working as a Custodian for the School District. I'm asking friends and family to PLEASE donate if you can!
