Help Me Get A New Ankle

I'm hoping to be able to raise enough money so that I can take 6 weeks off work to recuperate from an ankle replacement surgery.
While I am happy and thankful that the Canadian health care system will pay for the surgery I need to be able to cover expenses while off from work. I am a self-employed physiotherapist so if I am not working I have no source of income. I started my own small practice 5 years ago and love working as a sole practitioner. However, the downside is that I am the only one bringing in revenue from my work. While off I will need to cover both business and home expenses. Being a single mom these are not inconsiderable. My disability insurance would only kick in if I was off for 2 months so taking 6 weeks off is not long enough to qualify.
My saga began back in 1996 when I fell rock climbing. I was 300 feet up a cliff face in North Conway in the White Mountains climbing a climb called Book of Solemnity on Cathedral Ledge. I am forever thankful for the rescue team that got me off the cliff although it took 3 excruciating hours to get me into an ambulance. I had surgery in a small hospital in North Conway and had an excellent orthopaedic surgeon who put my ankle back together for me. Luckily a $25 dollar insurance policy I had bought at CIBC before crossing the border covered my medical expenses.
At the time I was told that in 20 years I would have severe arthritis in my poor left ankle. They were right. While a debridement in 2008 bought me a few years of function another attempt last February 2017 was not as successful. Now I am looking at a replacement or a fusion. For many reasons I am considering the replacement over the fusion and am now just trying to figure out when I can take the time off to do it.
