Hi my name is Aisling Corrigan and i live in county Kildare,
i have been on 2 of the Cara Projects volunteer trips before in 2022 and 2023 and have been lucky to get the opportunity to go again in February 2026.
  Cara Projects is an Irish charity which has built an amazing centre which is a refuge and home to almost 40 young women and children. Many of the girls living there were street children, orphans or suffered FGM (female genital mutilation) and child marriage. Cara Projects gives these women a home, a family, an education and a bright future.  Having witnessed first-hand how little these teens and children have and how happy they are. They are so loving and have such great, positive personalities. Every cent that is donated goes towards the health and happiness of these young women.
  As a volunteer we spend time with the children, painting and upkeep around the centre, gardening, helping locals in the community and various other jobs needed. 

 I could tell you a lot more about why you should donate but I hope that you will look at the photos i’ve posted here and consider donating what you can to help those who have so little.
