Hi, my name is Jason. This past week I suffered a tragic event. I lost my grandma, grandpa, and mother due to covid. This happened in a span of 4 days. I don't wish this kind of pain for anybody. I think it's difficult enough to plan one funeral let alone 3. 

 

My grandparents lived a long beautiful life and I find comfort they are continuing to the after life together after spending 63 years of marriage together. 

 

Now anybody who knows me knows my mother was my world. She was truly my best friend. My mother was the most amazing human being ever. She lived her life with a light that anybody who was lucky enough to hold a conversation with her would know immediately how genuine her love was. She was a career driven woman who only wanted to provide the world to her family. She worked so hard that she failed to pay attention to her health. In 2007 she went into a diabetic coma and lost both her kidneys. She was able to fight through this setback and lived the past 14 years as a dialysis patient. I dedicated my life to taking care of her by easing her depression with love and doing her dialysis myself at home everyday for the last 14 years. As the years went on she continued to battle health scares but shes a fighter and fought while still giving love and spreading love. Even though deep down she struggled with the fact she could no longer work and help provide for her family. Everything was then up to my father, grandparents, sister, and myself to pick up the slack to help pay bills and continue to pay the mortgage. 

 

Knowing she was always going to be a high risk to pass at any moment she asked me to promise her if she ever passed that her dying wish was to continue to help my father pay off their home. She was adamant that this was her dream home and that she wanted it to be our family's legacy to be passed down our family for generations and generations to come. Unfortunately after contracting covid she passed on 8/27 after my grandma and grandpa passed days before. 

 

At this moment the mortgage is 2/3 paid off. My sister is trying to help as much as she can but she has her own family and 3 children to raise. So the responsibility has fallen on my father and I to upkeep this home and finish paying it off. Which is difficult as we are barely getting back on our feet after the pandemic. I only want to fulfill my mother's dying wish. The money raised will go towards funeral costs, hospital expenses, and of course securing my mom's legacy with the home she worked so hard to create in the house she bought 22 years ago. 

 

I just want to really thank everybody and anybody willing to help in this time of need.
