I’m facing one of the most difficult challenges of my life — a diagnosis of MRSA pneumonia. For those who may not know, MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus) is a serious, antibiotic-resistant infection. When it spreads to the lungs, it causes pneumonia, which can lead to extreme difficulty breathing, high fevers, chest pain, and life-threatening complications. Because it’s resistant to many common antibiotics, treatment is longer, more aggressive, and far more exhausting than a typical pneumonia.
Physically, my body is drained. Simple tasks — walking across the room, going to the bathroom, even talking for too long — can leave me gasping for air and trembling with exhaustion. Nights are the hardest, with coughing fits, fevers, and the fear of what could happen if my breathing gets worse.
Mentally and emotionally, it has been overwhelming. The uncertainty, the hospital stay, and the constant worry about whether treatments will work have left me anxious, exhausted, and at times hopeless. I’ve learned how quickly life can change, and how vulnerable we all truly are.
Financially, this illness has been devastating. Being unable to work have created a burden. Instead of focusing solely on recovery, I’m constantly worrying about how to keep up with expenses.
I’m asking for help — not because it’s easy for me, but because right now, I truly need it. Your donations will go directly toward helping me stay afloat while I fight my way back to health.
Thank you for reading my story, for sharing it, and for any support you can give.
