<div>Hi, my name is David Marrero, most of you may know me as “FLARE” and I’m reaching out with something that’s very hard to ask—but I believe in the power of people and in what we can overcome together.

<div>On August 4, 2023, I was in a serious motorcycle accident that left me fighting for my life. The result was partial paralysis from a level C4 spinal cord injury. I am currently unable to walk, unable to move my legs, and unable to open or close my hands voluntarily, along with many other mobility limitations. Every day is a challenge, and while I’ve made some small steps forward, I still have a long way to go.

<div>I’ve been doing my best to regain core strength and build back what I can. But the truth is, there’s only so much I can do on my own. What I truly need is access to intensive rehabilitation therapy—the kind that uses specialized equipment and expert guidance that can make a real difference in someone with my level of injury.

<div>Unfortunately, that therapy is incredibly expensive and not covered by insurance, not even partially. That’s why I’m starting this GoFundMe—to humbly ask for your help.
