Hey all,

I have been approved to apply for a Permanent Resident (AKA a green card). Obtaining a green card solidifies my legal right to remain in the country I have called home for the past 10 years.

I have a personal lawyer who has worked on my case for the past few years. He has finished working on my application, we have passport photos, and I have covered the cost of the special physical exam required to be sent with the application.

Nonetheless, I have an outstanding balance of $1,100 in legal/administrative fees that I must pay before the application can be sent. Combined with my mother’s case, we owe a lot more, but this is solely for my application.

I’m taking 18 credit hours, and I don’t make nearly enough to cover these fees. I would highly appreciate your help.
