Hello. My name is Lincoln. I am the CEO and founder of Connectid Inc. Connectid's goal is to provide quality content and entertainment for our audience, and we need your help.
Back Story
I am from a small town in Ohio and am 13 years old. I am a straight A student (eighth grade) and take all of the advanced classes at my local school district, but they just don't teach you how to program an algebra calculator from scratch or how to overclock an Intel i9 processor at school.
So, being the knowledge sponge that I am, I took it upon myself to binge watch lots of YouTube videos. I learned how to program and quickly fell in love with it. The first interesting thing that I programed was the aforementioned algebra calculator, but the project I am working on now is developing a website for my mom's business.
But who am I to program a calculator that can do my homework for me without understanding the computer and hardware it was running on? So "Back to bingeing!" said the knowledge sponge!
Ok, so now I had all of this knowledge, but no one that I knew had the same knowledge as me. "I wonder if there is someway to connect with anyone anywhere around the world without leaving my bedroom...."
My YouTube Channel
On July 02, 2017 I started my YouTube channel. It was the easiest way to connect with other people to talk about technology, while also growing in the areas of web development, app development, programming, and all other aspects of technology.
I already have 45 videos on my YouTube channel, 67 subscribers, and 1154 views (data as of 09/25/2017). I try to upload every day when possible but school is a thing.
Why I Need Your Help
I would really like to keep making entertaining, informational, and overall reputable videos so that I can continue learning, but it's hard for viewers to take me seriously when my video quality is terrible and I'm talking about technology I don't even have.
Me and my two brothers are very lucky that our mother is a stay-at-home-mom so she can help us with homework and other things, but that means that only my dad works so we don't have a lot of money for things like this. I'm earning money in every way possible, but there aren't many for options for kids my age (all of the money I earn is going to this).
That's why I need your help to achieve my goal of one day being a developer at a tech company (i.e. Google, Apple, etc). Yes, my goal is high, but even small donations help.
